I just received John's call in the mail today. I hunt nothing but flooded timber for wood ducks and I am out every chance I get. I was very impressed with the workmanship of these calls and especially liked the fact that they don't come apart. There is nothing like looking for parts of your call in the dark. I loved the ease in blowing the call and tone that comes from it.

I can't even begin to express how impressed I am with this call! It sounds exactly like a wood duck. For the past few years I have primarily hunted woodys and carried a lanyard with three wood duck calls on it until now. This call has serious volume and covers the whole range of sounds that a wood duck makes. This call will put meat on the table time and time again!

I have been hunting ducks for around 14 years and for the money, this is one of the best calls I've owned. I will continue to refer all my hunting buddies. I bought a LCGC mallard duck call and was instantly impressed. It's wood and finish are a unique and beautiful design. The sound was loud and crisp. I am glad that John Hood makes a quality call for a low price. A lot of other brands are overpriced for the equal quality that John has put into his calls.

I own one of your wood duck calls that I purchased last fall and I love it. It is the first time that I have ever got a wood duck to turn and come back using a call. I have not been able to do this with any of the other calls I have tried. I thank you for the extra meat in the freezer.
